Here’s a chance to re-live the 70s and see the beginnings of when the presentation became more than the music. Concert footage from the unique New Wave/Punk/whatever-you-wanna-call-it band from 1978 as well as music videos are mixed together like a Monty Python montage as well as a 1996 film Butch Devo and the Sundance Kid are put on this dvd for 114 minutes of music, mayhem and mirth. Things that came out when MTV was an actual musical force are included here, such as videos “Jocko Homo,” “(I can’t Get No) Satisfaction” and a frenetic “Secret Agent Man.” Vintage concert footage of material such as “Uncontrollable Urge” and “Red Eye” seem like a mix between Kraftwerk and Revenge of the Nerds. Music? Theatre? Maybe the next pop musical!
