The team shows cohesiveness on the tight stop start work of the bopping “Green Juice” and the horns dig in around Jones on the uptempo ‘Nichols Blues”. Nichols glows on the soft and cirrus “Nebula”” and reflectively mo urns on the prismatic “When All Is Said and ‘Dunn’”. Rees’ tenor is richly moody for the soft “From Dust” and palpable on the wandering “Treyarnon”. Shiny brass.
