The trio of trumpeter Dominick Farinacci, accordionist Michael Ward-Bergeman and vibist Christian Tamburr create soft and bohemian moods on this collection of a wide range of ideas. Nuevo tango is wheezed out by Ward-Bergeman on Piazzolla’s “Libertango” and eerie bohemia is portrayed on “Je Ne T’Aime Pas”. Tamburr taps out a soft samba on the stately “Domingando” with some agonizing voice and vibes howling on “St. James Infirmary”. There’s an ominous and darkly dark “I Put A Spell On You” as well as a lovely “A Prayer For You” while indie moods close things out on “Stop This Train”. Moody moments.
