Playing a variety of guitars, Will Bernard teams up with clarinetist/vocalist Beth Custer for a collection of cozy duets. Custer sings a bit on the minstrelly “Glistening Spirit” and “Sky” among a couple others, but for the most part sticks to the licorice stick, which is warm and wood on a relaxing The Curve”, a delicate “Daikon Radish” an dpastoral “Bear in Shamanic Transformation”. Bernard is tender and glowing, sounding a bit like Stefan Grossman, but does plug on the dark “Not Necessarily Stoned” which breaks the mood for a bit. Fireplace fun.
