Violinist Brooke Alford creates soulful and smooth atmospheres with a mix of strings, keyboards and a mix and match rhythm section. She soars around the synth pulses of the title tune, with some R&Bish keyboards by George Foreman making “New Day” and “On The Move” quite danceable for the disco. There is a George Benson feel to “Shine” and some tropical percussion sounds for Alford to soar over on “Cascade to the Congo”, with things getting dreamy on “Wanting More”. Silky strings.
