Strunz & Farah Syncretic Strings

You know when guitarists Strunz and Farah have chops when guest Al Di Meola is relegated to the role of playing percussion! He’s in good company, with Luis Conte, Majeed Ghorbani and Diego Alvarez also banging away with drummers Paul Alexander Gonzales/Ron Wagner and bassists Carlos del Puerto/Carlitos Cuba bringing in the rest of the rhythm on this Iberian delight. There’s a rich mix of taste and chops throughout, as on “Merry Chase” and the strumming “Syncretic Strings”, with sensuous flair on “Corriente Tripical”. Andalusian folk charms dance on “Summerborn” and ‘”Horas Solitarias” and stringed textures are palpable on ”This Could Only Be”. Nylon delights.
