There’s a spacey “In A Silent Way” feel to the funky tortured work on pieces like “Los” while tones like pan pipes ooze through the hip hopping “Red Sun”. “Miss Ann” includes a thick bass line, rustling drums and a droning tenor sax rubato that finally climaxes in cacophonic angst, while “Insight” sizzles with street level heat.
