There’s a mix of gospel and Miles Davis ESP era on the rich “Seven Come Wednesday” featuring harmonic horns and clever piano work by Holt. The rhythm section gives a 5/4 dance to the Mediterranean “Pleiades” and the saxes glow and sway to the sauntering “Ingoma Yoxolo (Peace Song)”.
