Drummer Giuseppe Paradiso takes a trip back to the heady days of jazz-rock fusion on this albulm with Mark Zaleski/as-cl-ss, Phil Sargent/eg, Utar Artun/pkey, James Hazlewood-Dle/b and Malick Ngon/perc. The leader and Ngom add vocals to the funk festof “Tony” while the band mixes exotic caravan moods with urgent rock on pieces like “Kaizen” and “Parallel Dimensions”. Paradiso shows his wares on “Joriki” while the horns cry and yearn on the wailing “It’s Only The Beginning” and the mix of classical and Sahara on “Memories of the Future”. Plugged in pleasures.
