The pop-rock band Lizard Music got together about 25 years ago, and decided to do a reunion of such on this new release. The team consists of alumni Mikael Jorgensen/key-g-voc, Craig Smith/dr-voc Chris Apple/b-tp-voc and Erik paparazzi/g-key/voc. The songs sound like they couldn’t figure out what genre of rock they wanted to focus on, as you get hints of 70s rockers like Spooky Tooth on “In Jest” with a hint of art rockers 10CC on “Arizone!”. British 60s harmonies and beat are on “Keystone Cops” and 80s synth pop prevails on the pulsed “Make That Drink To Go”. Was this supposed to be a soundtrack for a retro flick?
