Almost every song has an electronic background effect, sort of like a sonic wallpaper, creating a foundation as Loughman’s deep strums build up and down with the reeds on pieces like “Disunion” and support Kay’s passionate horn on “Isolation”. Ishaq’s flutelike ney creates and exotic moods over the pulsating “Horizons” while Kay is fragrant around Petrova and Loughman’s soloing on “Grow”.
