Former Creedence Clearwater Revival drummer Doug “Cosmo” Clifford teams up with bassist Steve Wright, Keith England/voc, guitarists Joe Satriani-Greg Douglass-Jimmy Lyon and keyboardists Tim Gorma-Pat Mosca to bring back rocking 70s and 80s grooves. The songs all have that mix of vintage rock ranging from reminiscences of the Small Faces (“I See Your Silhouette”) to the urgency of Bruce Springsteen on the urgent “Lonesome Boy” and “You’re Gonna Love Again” as well as 80s punk/new wave with a Nick Lowe-ish “Weekends”. There’s some fun rockabilly on the riffed “She Told Me So” and pop sensibilities on “I Need Your Love” and the romantic Raspberry’d “Just In The Nick of Time”. Cosmo’s factory still produces.
