Sounds created during the COVID lockdown are delivered by keyboardist/composer Senri Oe as he plays all of the instruments on
this personal album of social distanced reflections. He uses his keyboards and electronics in various motifs, creating a kalimba/tropical atmosphere for “Good Morning”, using bass lines for soulful grooves on “Juke Box Love Song”, “Love” and “A Werewolf in Brooklyn” and getting a bit fusiony on the tricky RTF-ish “Out of Chaos”. Most of the time, there is a feeling of solitude and hope for return to normalcy as on the pretty title tune, or the tender solo piano of “Togetherness”. Each album from Oe’s catalogue has been unique and clever; this one gets you into his heart.
