Rebecca Angel: Love Life Choices

Vocalist Rebecca Angel teams with keyboardist/synth bassist/producer Jason Miles and a host of musicians to creates a breezy mix of jazz and samba. Her tone is similar to Avril Lavigne, with a wisp to her take of the Boomer hit “For What It’s Worth” going into a  more soulful read, while giving almost a lullaby approach to an interpretation of Eric Satie’s music on “Till Now”. She wisps to the nylon strings of Romero Lubambo on “Corcovado” and “Waters of March” while sounding a bit like Esperanza Spalding on a fun reggae’d take of “Waiting In Vain”” and the synthy soul of “Thoughts and Prayers”. Polished and shiney.
