Indefatigable pianist Satoko Fujii creates a trio with drummer Ittetsu Takemura and cellist/bassist Takashi Sugawa for five intuitive original compositions ranging from just under nine to over eighteen minutes. The mode here is moods, as there is an eerie atmosphere drums, cello and scattered piano on “Hansho” while Fujii lurks around the corner with her fingers with Sugawa’s dark shadows on “Keep Running”.
