Rossano Baldini is with one song exception the only human being on this album of six songs. While the titles of each song is about a body part or organ, the music itself is almost completely lacking in humanity itself. Mostly, you get sounds that appear to need a Netflix series for the soundtrack, with synthetic oozes and dreamy synths on “Flesh”, a pulsating chase on “Blood”, loops and leaps on “Lungs” and Nintendo buzzes on “Liver”. Back in the day, they used to make albums called “Sound Effects”, now it’s “jazz”.
