Trumpeter Nils Wulker creates soft tones on his horn, but puts them in songs that are reminiscent of synth 80s tunes a la Hall & Oats. Pop soul with a Nintendo pulse contrasts with the delicate brass on “Hidden Intensions’ with some human voice “ahhs’ added to “Hybrid”. Funky beats with Theo Coker bringing extra brass creates some fone on “Highline” with upbeat kes bouncing on ”Perlage”. More gentle and spacious atmospheres ate delivered by Simon Gattringer/dr, Arne Jansen/g , Albin Janoska/synth and Maik Schott on “Distorting Time” and the gentle “Blow Up.” No Boy George on guest vocals?
