Hungarian songstress Rozina Patkai brings her ethereal voice to a wide range of soft moods on this album with Janos Aved/ts-ss-p, Istvan Toth Jr/g, Ditta Rohmann/cel, Andras Des/perc and Marton Fenyvesi/b-arr. Intimate atmospheres abound, as she goes bohemian with percussion while reading TS Elliot on “Song” with Toth, or giving a folksy minstrel mood on “Sea Song” and “Lorelei.” She’s festive with percussion as she bounces to the title track, and is sing songy on “O Leazozinho” and the fun “A Ra”, both composed by Caetano Veloso, while she’s lonely and ethereal on the passionate “Llagas De Amor.” Heart and voice on sleeve.
