Drummer Dave Schoepke delivers eight original drum solos, emphasizing the various tones and parts of his drum kit. He creates a nice 6/8 groove for “Pool-Pond,” gallops for “Tangles” and does some use of his hands on ‘Four Twenty Six.” A s nappy snare for “N’ging,” tom toms on” Eleven Three” and even some voices thrown in on “The Thing From The Darkness” keep this session from monochromatic self indulgence.
