Frederico 7 does the writing, singing, rhythm guitar, synth bass and some piano as he’s supported by a mix and match collection of musicians almost always joined by Michael Longoria/perc, Bruno Vineof/perc and Jet Jaguar/b. The material is a wide ranging affair as well, with hints of Dick Dale guitar and latin feel on “Run Free” and “Exotico Mexico” while relaxed and sensuous bossas glide by on “ Ela Alma” and “Vibran Los Ancestros.” Some rich folk moods are well suited for Frederico’s warm voice on “Ciclo das Galaxias” and he gets soulful on a funky and groove during “La Mirada del Halcon.” Pop music that pops.
