I guess Tori Amos is proving that you CAN go back home again, as this disc has her revisiting her most famous release, the 20 year old Little Earthquakes. This time around, she performs the whole thing during a concert in The Netherlands with The Metropole Orchestra. Her voice sounds amazingly strong, and the strings make the dramatic pieces such as “Precious Things” and “Yes Anastasia” roll over you like a tidal wave. Her more gospel flavored “Snow Cherries From France” typifies this concert, as there is almost a Broadway Musical spectacle to the concert. Exciting, and almost sounds like it must have been a visual treat as well.
