Wonder where the “Psychedelic Sixties” went? They formed a band with dani Rabin/g, Danny Markovitch/sax, Greg Essig/dr and John W. Lauier/b and put out this album! You’ve got a mix of jazz and acid rock as wild as the 13th Floor Elevators on “Intro” and the rapid flying of drums and guitar on “African Shabtay.” A mix of Vanilla Fudge and Weather Report make some rock guitar riffs and soprano sax lines on “Y’all Are Good” and the Blues Magoos are wearing bell bottoms again as the guitar lines get heavy on “Jambo” and “Agressive Hippies.” This album is a hoot and is a must for listening to on the way to a Grateful Dead concert.
