McGrath has a rich and deeply palpable tone, creating a deep Ben Websterish fog on “The Almost-Mourning” and going into subtones on “So Sad, So Lonesome” while showing a sweet soprano on “Borderlands” and “Wellspring”. Fujisaki is in pretty form on “Windy City” and lyrical on “Half Moon”. Flavorful forms.
