Stephan Micus takes you on a tour of Byzantium, playing all of the instruments of the Mediterranea including tableharp, zither, sattar, dilruba and other folk instruments bowed and strummed. There is an Aegean feel on pieces such as “To The Rising Sun” and “In Your Eyes” with the strings sounding like variations of a bouzouki. There are also violin-like musings on “Dream Within A Dream” and “The Flame” with the each song giving the feel of a Greek village.
