Terry Donaghue Looking For Redemption

Deep minstrel tones are painted by Terry Donaghue, singing and playing guitar with a Spartan team of Al Cross/dr, Debbie Danbrook/fl, Sean O’Connor/ts, Vezi Tayyeb/b-B3-g-synth-p and Isabel Fryszberg/voc. The eight tunes are reminiscent of JD Souther, with blueish folk themes with a hint of jazz, with O’Connor adding some bohemia to the lonely “Prelude” and and rural “Looking For Redemption”. Donaghue takes you to the campfire as he spins tales on “The O ld Road” and “If I Had A Choice” weaving words like a tapestry on “Stevie”. A minstrel of the dusk.
