The team of Vance Henry/g-voc, Tony Robertson/mand-voc, Ricky Rogrs/b-voc and Andy Richardson/banj/voc are working on turning modern rock into a foundation for bluegrass, with previous albums taking on songbooks of Pearl Jam, Nirvana and Metallica. Here, the gents bring the Cumberland Gap to the Doors, with rich harmonies, and plenty of picking and grinning to go around for takes of ”Break On Through” and “Hello, I Love You”. And, while you might raise your eyebrows here and there at the song selection, “Love Me Two Times” is a hoot, and don’t forget “Riders On The Storm” was initially inspired by “Ghost Riders In The Sky”, so that one appropriately closes out the night at the Moose Lodge.
