Consisting of Elin Forkelid/ts-bas-as, David Stackenas/g, Mauritz Agnes/b and Anna Lund/dr, the band Sol Sol delivers original post bop pieces of deft interplay. Forkelid’s baritone sax is beefy around Lund’s sticks on the kinetic title tune, with a warm tenor teamed with Agnes during “Can I Have The Bill, Please?” All three saxes take a turn with Stacenas on the supercharged “Elena” and the guitarist sounds like he’s linking in to The Troggs’ “Wild Thing” on “Hello Again, Paul”.
