Playing piano and organ, Chad Edwards lead hip tam of Robert Kyle/sax-fl, Hussain Jiffry/b and Kevin Winard/dr through a collection of rich ideas. Jiffry supplies a rich line over Kyles alto sax on “Footprints” , and the band sounds a bit like Steely Dan on their take of “Wave”. Edwards’ piano is lyrical alonsid Kyle’s soprano on “Wyoming Roads” and his keyboards get funky on “Momma Wanna Llama”, bopping well on “Tierney” and an upbeat read of “Autumn Leaves”. Clear sailing
