Keyboardist Benjamin Croft brings in some Deep P urple-ish rock fusion on this album with Greg Howe-Carter Arrington-Per Nilsson/g, Billy Sheehan-Stuart Hamm/b, Simon Phillips-Marco Minnemann/dr and vocalists Jeff Scott Soto or Lynsey Ward.
For the instrumentals, there’s a dark metallic “The Age Of Magrathea” with fist pumping guitar and keyboards. Phillips ricochets on the rocker “You Made Me Miss” and joins in the ominous atmosphere of “Lower Moat Manor”. Soto is strong and bold on the energetically driven “We Are Here To Help” , while Ward joins in the Yes-ish space trip of “Caught In The Flypaper”. Who do we think we are?
