Playing trumpet with some electronics, Arve Henriksen teams up with pianist Harmen Fraanje for a collection of ambient originals. Henrikson’s gasping trumpet is almost emphysemic on the gasping “Redream” and sputtering “Red and Black” with moaing sighs around Fraanje on “Passing On The Past”. The pianist is gentle t hroughout, sparan on the somber “Melancholy” and working around the electronics on “Miirror Imagees” and atmospheric “Winter Haze”. Static time.
