Bluesy jazzer guitarist Dave Stryker returns to his soulful B3 roots of Jake McDuff on this humming session with Jared Gold/org, McClenty Hunter/dr and guest Bob MIntzer/ts on this mix of hip huggers. At times, the team veers into Larry young territory, with some soph isticated charts on the modal “Overlap” and sophisticated “Code Blue”. Most of the time, the wheel is greased for some hip shuffles as on “Groove Street” with Stryker picking and grinning on “Cold Duck Time” and the tasty shuffle of “The M ore I See You”.
