The team sounds well rehearsed, with guitar and piano in amazing unison lines on the nimble “Mind” with an elliptical shade of blue on “Humanoid”. Her left hand digs in deep on “Evolution” with a splashy abstraction on the traffic jam of “Under A Fig Tree”. Mohler rumbles and solos on “Vines” , with Renfroe tasty on the romantic “ Strange Meeting” and a gracefully moody “Fleurette Africaine”, with everyone in a folksy mood for “Lawns”.
