The team of Ruthie Dineen/p-keys, Doug Lee/b and Luis Salcedo/g mix and match with various guests on this compilation of various jazzy moods. There are some funky moods with guest drummer Steve Weems on “What’s Your Function” and the so ulful “High Hopes”. On the other side, some rich folk moods are created with vocalist Tiffany Austin on “Time Unmoored” as well as the more bohemin “Bullfighters, Imprssarios, Even Delinquents” with Ross Howe on guitar and Colin Hogan’s accordion, as Nora Stanley’s flute flies by, and the team swings easy on “Double Edged Smile. Vocalists Mia Pixley and Aled Ordu are dreamy along with Pixley’s cello on “IWanna Dance and Be Human”. Strong colors on a musical rainbow.
