The team of Mike King-Aaron Parks/p, Vincent Archer-Greg Bryantt/b, Marcus Finnie/dr and guests Giveton Gellin/tp, John Ellis/ts, Stacy Dillard/tp are mixed and matched throughout, with the horns featured on the rich “ If Youy Asked Me To” and relaxed take of the gospel classic “Just A Closer Walk With Thee”. In a trio format she’s conversant on “Falling” and “Can We Pretend” while sounding most personal I duets with Parks on “Try To Remember”and King on the classy “September Song”.
