Lauren Falls brings her bass and compositions for interpretation with her easy swinging band of David French/ts, Trevor Giancola/g, Todd Pentney/p and Trevor Falls/dr. Falls does not hog the spotlight, serving as a mood setter, creating rich atmospheres for the warm tenor sax of French on “New View” and the lyrical “Jupiter”. Pentney chimes with Giancola on “TTB” while getting ectomorphic on the clever “Labyrinth”.
