This two disc set of about 20+ minutes each find harpist Andreas Vollenweider in two distinct moods. There is a “Snowflow” side, with Vollenweider teamed woth The London Session Orchestra and a rhythm section with occasional horns. This album has synth-pulsed pieces such as “Find Me In My Dream” and pretty reflections such as the title piece and the melodic “Deep Green Waltz”, with plenty of modern R&B thrown in for groove.
The “Dancer” side is more joyful and extroverted as on “WoaWoa”, including Graeme Flowers’ trumpet, an “Africapella” vocal groups for the soulful “Uthando” and tribal “Scarabaeus” and Oliver Keller’s electric guitar on the folksy “Up & Out”. Light and fluffy musical crème puffs of joy.
