Leonor Falcon: Images Mondo Vol II

Leonor Falcon plays violin and viola with her intuitive team of Christof Knoche/as-bcl, Juanma Trujillo/g-mand-uk, Zachary Swanson/b and Juan Pablo Carletti/dr-perc as they interpret her creative compositions. Her strings are warm, joining with Knoche’s alto on the fairly fragmented pair of “Improv” pieces, while she pleads with him on “Para Emilio”. Knoche’s bass clarinet gurgles and makes reed effects on “A” while Trujillo’s strings are gentle during the most cohesive piece, “Ballad for a Hawk”. The team rocks out a bit on “Cursing Parrots” and gets a mix of dream and nightmare on “Nita”. Casual collections almost tied together cohesively.
