There’s a pleasant and easy swing to these pieces, reminding you of West Coast Cool with glowing strings on “News Blues”, a nifty pulse on the bopping “Sweet Way” and a mellow mood of “Meeting The Master”. The strings get romantic on ”Uninvited” , Vedady does some deft work on the post bop of “Tribute Tune” and the team glistens on “If You Cold See Me Now” with the leader displaying his well crafted wares on his aria of “Embraceable You.” Tasty Treats.
