The team shares the spotlight congenially, with Medelgi’s gentle guitar giving lovely impressions during “Confine” and creating effects as drapery for Fabre on the pastoral “Contiguous”. Rossignol’s electric bass lays down a rich pulse on the Monkis “Portal” for Fabre” while Augier’s cymbals guide the way for Medelgi’s picking and plucking on “Minute Quantum”. The team shows its swing chops on the gl iding “New Hypno Jazz” and goes a bit on the frisky side on the elliptical “Sevenot”. Modern, clever and accessible.
