The singing/playing team of Peter Holsapple and Chris Stamey show their hand on the title of this album, as the duo create and perform songs that harken to the halcyon days of The Byrds, and their wake. There is a rich melding of vocal harmony and upbeat guitar work on pieces like “Dynamite” and “Black and White” with chiming guitars and voice, while a dash of the Everly Brother is heard with banjo on the folkish “From A Window To A Screen”. Breezy themes and hints of the trio America come forth on “Big Brown Eyes”, “Nothing Is Wrong” and the campfire’d “Today Could Be The Day” with the two getting cozy on the easy swing of “She’s Not Worried”. A cruise on Ventura Highway.
