The team of Leslie Hunt/voc, Andrew Lawrence/key, Jim Tashjian/g-voc, Tim Seisser/b and Jonathan Schang are captured (mostly) live at a gig in Netherlands back in 2019, with the band mixing originals of hard hitting metal with some intriguing covers. The team shows its prog side when they bring in King Crimson bassist John Wetton for a hard hitting “21st Century Schizoid Band” while also bounding hard on “Red” and “Fainting In Coils”. A take of Genesis’ “Back In NYC” shows muscle while Yes’ “Long Distance Runaround” is a joyful romp. There’s a relentless pulse to “Sheep” and lots of shadowy rock on “Trigger” with pretty moments on “Ghost Girl” and an intimate read of John Lennon’s “Jealous Guy”. Heavy progressive poundings.
