Guitarist and composer Dan Pitt brings in the two reed team of Naomi McCarroll-Butler/as-bcl and Patrick Smith/ts-ss as a front line with Alex Fourneir/b and Nick Fraser/dr for his seven dark themes. The leader rocks hard with the growling saxes on “Wrongs” and creates a thick strumming atmosphere for the reads and Fraser’s heavy hitting on “BroOke”.
