Nathan Hiltz plays guitar and bass pedals, Johnny Griffith is on synthesizers, alto and tenor saxes with the time kept by drummer Neil MacIntosh on this Baker’s Dozen originals. Half of the songs are quick segues consisting of electronic effects, while others such as “W.C.W” or “Thunder Ninja” sound like music for an Atari game. Griffith’s alto brings some soul to the pulsating “Ladies From The Eighties” and is pretty on “Rocket Surgeon” while “Paper War” is something right out of the Disco period. Nostalgic for glitter balls and polyester white pants?
