Husky voiced Helle Henning creates a Nashville-mooded album with a cast of Nikolaj Hess/p-key, Norah Jones alumni Tony Scherr/b and Kenny Wollesen/dr as well as guests guests Mathias Heise/harm, Kirstine Elise Pedersen/cel, August Wanngen/acc and Julie Boda/voc for a set of originals. She gives hints of Bonnie Raitt on a bluesy “If Your Life Was A Movie” with Hess, and drifts with Heise’s harmonica on “The Way You Make Me Feel” and the dreamy “When Love Was You”. A soft “I Will Never Forget” includes bohemian accordion framework by Wanngen with parlor atmospheres from Pedersen’s cello on “As Long As We Both Know” and Love Is Right Here”. Henning herself feels like rural moods from the Cumberland Gap, singing telling stories like a blue-jeaned traveler.
