Joachim Kuhn & Trummerschlunk: Playing Probabilities

Sound effects and atmospheres are created by pianist Joachim Kuhn as he teams with engineer and electronic experimenter Klaus Scheuermann on a mix of ambience of intuition. Lots of dark ruminations wander in the corners on “Gluckszahl 23” while tiny feet scurry behind the walls on “High Entropy”. Tinny piano tones waft over subterranean effects on “a-r-t-e-n-e” and eerie sonar probes radiate during “A New Balance”. A ripple from the current of Fripp and Eno.
