Exciting meldings of progressive rock and Central Asian tones work wonders on this album featuring Jason Everett on 7 string fretless and 6 string acoustic bass along with guitarist Fareed haque, V. Selvaganesh on various Indian percussion including the vocal konnokol, and the seattle Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra along with various guests on tablas, sitars, guitars and voices. The featured pieces is a four part “Moksha” that includes percussive vocals, dramatic synthesizers, sweeping strings and pulsating percussion of almost 17 minutes. Drums and percussion rumbles on the dramatic “Call of Kali” while Everett’s bass does some wonderous soloing and pulsating on “Resolve”. Gorgeous acoustic guitar on “ Zyryab” lends a Middle East flavor and “Mysterious World” is a wondrous clash of civilizations as western progressive rock goes hand in hand with wondrous sounds from the Ganges.
