OK, it’s not that bad, but this team is a hip collection of aviators, bopping and rocking on “Take It To The Ozone” with hip solos by Doug Morgan/bs (do I have to call them “Master Sgt” or “Technical Sgt”? Do they play differently according to rank? The brass is bright on “Oops” while the saxes are pretty in support of Paige Wroble as she sings richly on “With Every Breath I Take” and the galloping take of “My Favorite Things”. David McDonald snaps everyone to attention with his drums on the grooving “Small Note Boogaloo” and rides the whip on the flag waver “Lazy Bird”. These wings can swing!
