Guitarist Shambhu gives truth in advertising on this album, subtitled “Soothing Guitar For A Peaceful World.” He plays acoustic and electric guitar along with “e strings and e pads” joining with sensitive mates Frank Martin/key, Kai Eckhardt/b, Celso Alberti/dr, Premik Russell Tubbs/woodwinds, Kristin Hoffmann/voc and Alec Hamilton/org. The acoustic pieces like “Pondering When” and “Unspoken Words” are soft and folksy, while a dash of Nashville’s skyline is heard on “Blue Whispers” and “Dream Walk.” Mellow jazz pulses are felt on “Seeing You Again” and the clean title track. A cool drink of strings.
