This 7 song ep contains three pieces from Culture’s 1982 Calling Rastafari as well as four previously unissued takes and remixes. Members of The Wailers, Roots Radics and Joseph Hill, Albert Walker with Lloyd Dayes on vocals make for an easy pulse with synth grooves on “Calling Rastafari” with some soulful horns for “Dem A Payaka” and the urgent “Can They Run.” The remixes ad echoes to “Mister Music” and some chunky wah wah for ”Can They Run” and the voices are filled with relaxed passion.
