Lots of energy is emitted by this Latin team lead by drummer Michael Tate and including Chris Amelar/g, Ricky Gonzalez-Lenny Underwood/key-b and a slew of vocalists, percussionists and horn players. The team delivers a pair festive takes of Earth, Wind & Fire’s “Fantasy” in instrumental and vocal versions, as well as the percolating percussive “I Wonder Why.” Some reggae lilts into the picture with organ on “Spell on You” and some rap with reggae hits the streets on “Things Will Change” while the team gets all romantic on the fervent “Quiero Saber.” This is a fun one, and custom made for getting everyone out on the dance floor.
